One-to-one coaching for people doing meaningful work
Sometimes you know something needs to change but you can't quite see what, or you can see it clearly but don't know how to move on. That's what coaching is for.
I'm a certified coach through the MOE Foundation, working one-to-one with people who want to think more clearly about their work, their direction, and what comes next. Sessions are available online or in person.
I work best with people in or around public sector, design, and creative roles - people who care about the work they do and want to do it better, or differently, or on their own terms.
What we might work on
Making a significant career decision.
Building confidence in a new or stretching role.
Navigating difficult organisational dynamics.
Planning a move to independent work.
Finding clarity when things feel stuck.
How it works
We start with a free 30-minute conversation to make sure we're a good fit. From there you can book individual sessions or a package of six or 12, which gives you a structured arc of work with a clear starting point and a clear goal.
Sessions last 60 minutes. Online or in person and are completely confidential.
“Working with Joe was genuinely transformative!
The biggest thing I gained was a deep understanding of my own agency in my career - realising that small decisions lead to big change. What once felt overwhelming became manageable, broken down into clear, practical steps.
Joe helped me move things out of my head where they felt frustrating and impossible and into reality, where they felt achievable and empowering. A key realisation was that I could test things out, take risks, and that nothing bad would happen. That insight made meaningful change feel possible.
Two years on, I’ve held two new roles (each paying more than the last) and I’m now three-quarters of the way through a professional postgraduate diploma that once felt impossible.
Joe is trustworthy, honest, and deeply supportive. He genuinely wants the best for you - as you define it - and helps you see what more might be possible." - Nina Jones
