I'm a service designer with over a decade of experience working across some of the most complex services in the UK and beyond.
I've led service design in local government across the country in housing, adult social care, finance, and waste and recycling. I've worked with NHSx and NHS Trusts including Alder Hey. I've worked in central government leading service design alongside policy teams on large, complex national services. I also spent some time up-skilling international diaspora communities at Cambridge University for the Tony Blair Institute for Change.
Internationally, I led design work and coached teams across three European municipalities - Helsinki, Budapest and Vilnius - as part of a Bloomberg Philanthropies programme, delivering transformation projects and building new ways of working for local government teams during the pandemic when everything had to change fast.
I worked at FutureGov (now TPXimpact), one of the UK's most respected public sector design agencies, where I led multidisciplinary teams, line managed designers, and mentored people at every stage of their careers. I've also brought service design to Liverpool through the global Service Jam community - first developing my own skills at jams in Leeds, then running my own jams in Liverpool to introduce the discipline to people across the city.
I came back to Liverpool because this is where I want to do my best work - teaching, coaching and mentoring from a studio in the city, helping practitioners and organisations build services that actually work for the people who use them.
